Muddy Puddles Farm & Guest House is a peaceful countryside retreat set in the quiet village of Kovachevets, surrounded by open fields, gentle hills and the slow rhythm of rural Bulgarian life. Although we’re not a working farm, the property has a homely, natural feel, with five free‑roaming chickens and three friendly dogs who love to greet guests.
Kovachevets itself is a traditional, slow‑paced village in the Popovo region, known for its wide skies, calm atmosphere and welcoming community. Staying here gives you a comfortable base in the countryside, with easy access to the historic sights, restaurants and cultural landmarks of Veliko Tarnovo and the surrounding area.
